James M. Jackson, M.D.

James M. Jackson, M.D., graduated from Cal State Fullerton with honors. He received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Jackson completed four years of Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine. Following his residency, he spent one year of additional training in a Sports Medicine fellowship in Los Angeles. Setting aside his original career goal (of becoming a professional baseball player), Dr. Jackson now specializes in sports medicine and athletic injuries as well as general orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Jackson served as team physician for the Long Beach Riptide minor league baseball team. He has several scientific papers relating to limb reconstruction.
