Edward Green, III, M.D.

Edward Green, M.D. graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University. His post graduate training included an internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. He then moved to the west coast and completed a fellowship in sports medicine in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He has been in practice since 2001 and is currently the Orthopaedic Department Chairman for St. Mary Medical Center in downtown Long Beach.
Dr. Green has been team physician for Long Beach professional baseball by serving the Long Beach Breakers and the Armada. In addition, he was team physician for the Long Beach Jam professional basketball in 2003 - 2004 as well as the Long Beach Aftershock professional womens football in 2005 - 2006. He has published and presented papers covering issues from upper extremity fractures to knee ligament reconstruction. His areas of specialization include sports medicine, adult reconstruction, and shoulder and knee surgery.
