Stuart A. Green, M.D., received his medical degree in New York City. After completing his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, New York, Dr. Green had a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of California, San Diego. An expert in the area of reconstructive orthopaedics, Dr. Green was the first physician in the U.S. to introduce the Russian bone lengthening techniques for treating non-unions and deformities. He has developed several operations currently being used around the world. Dr. Green has served as director of Problem Fracture Service at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital, Downey. He is Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Green has authored four books and more than ninety scientific papers. He is on the editorial board of three medical journals.
